Legal Compliance Practices

The company is committed to fully comply with the legal requirements of the country, ILO conventions and / or other legislation that is relevant to business performance.

Freedom of Association and Collective Bargaining Practices

The company recognizes and respects the rights of employees to freedom of association and collective bargaining.

Nondiscrimination Practices

The company does not discriminate during the recruitment process, hiring, compensation, training, discipline, advancement, termination or retirement on the basis of gender, race, color, religion, age, sex, disability, sexual orientation, nationality, political opinion or social origin, but relies solely on the ability to perform the work.

Wages and Compensation Practices

The company pays normal wages and overtime based on Salvadoran laws. Payments are made through bank transfer to employee's accounts. Information regarding payments and deductions is described in a "pay slip" and a copy is given to all employees. Deductions from wages as a disciplinary measure are prohibited.

Working Hours Practices

Working hour requirements are based on Salvadoran law (44 hours per week). All overtime shall be consensual and should not exceed 16 hours per week. Other than in exceptional circumstances, the sum of regular and overtime hours in a week shall not exceed 60 hours.

Health and Safety Practices

The Company shall maintain a healthy and safe working environment, providing Safety Equipment, Safety Devices, Personal Protective Equipment, Training and adequate space for the performance of work activities in order to prevent accidents.

Environmental Practices

The Company is committed to the care and welfare of the environment. It is the Company's responsibility to create and maintain measures to mitigate negative impacts that the workplace has on the environment.

No Child Labor Practices

Child labor is prohibited within the Company, only adults are contracted as required by Salvadoran labor law. The age of majority is 18 years.

No Forced Labor, Harassment or Abuse Practices

The Company will not use forced labor, including prison labor, indentured labor, bonded labor or other forms of forced labor. Every employee shall be treated with respect and dignity. No employee shall be subject to any physical, sexual, psychological or verbal harassment or abuse.
